The world is so cruel that sometimes, we might think that the only way to survive is to be as cunning and evilly smart as the next guy. Watch any Netflix movie, and they seem to be the ones raking in the money and the power while the poor but kind-hearted folks starve in the gutter.
It’s counter-intuitive in this dog eat dog world, but Kindness should still be Queen. Yes, others might see it as a weakness. Yes, the unscrupulous might take advantage of you. Still, it’s better to be that shining light for others and at least sleep well at night. To be kind in this day and age requires courage like no other.
